Good Morning,

Ladies and Gentlemen, CCNA's, CCIE's, etc...

Can you suggest some training courses to take ? I am a CCNA but have not been in the trenches in a long time. Approaching this as a I.T. Manager who needs\wants to be hands-on again. With routing and Switching as you know, one must constantly use these skills or loses them. Thanks for any and all suggestions\guidance.

Self training is the best you can ever take, provided you have got the resources. Procuring a set of routers, switches, cables etc, can help a lot in studying for your next level (CCNP or CCIP) courses. Get books at cheaper rate at www.bookpool.com, or you can even get books at cheaper prices at lot of garage sales and auctions. I would recommend that.

Or if you want to go for online courses, you have courses avaialble from Knowledgenet, but for a small price.

Also many CLPs do offer courses but prices are a bit high, but if your company does pay for it, then go for that.
