Uplinking a 4500 to 6500s

I would like a suggestion on the best way to do uplink a 4500 with a SUP IV to the core of the network. I have two 6500s in the core, and I am going to uplink the 4500 with a connection to each 4500. I was thinking about using a transport vlan to connect to each 6500. 2 addresses just used between the 4500 and the 6500 and another two for the other uplink. I'm planning on trying to have most devices on the 4500 be on a seperate vlan just for the 4500, but I know that I will have to have devices that are on different vlans defined on the 6500. Should this switch participate in eigrp? What would be the best way to handle this?

If you want the switch to participate in routing, you can configure it to work as a router and advertise the routes.
