VLANs Multiple Switches

I have a question regarding communication between Multiple switches (2950) connected to a vlan on a primary 2950.

Background:

Router 1 Fe01 192.168.230.1/25

Router 1 Fe1/3 Vlan1 192.168.230.139/25

Router 2 Fe01 192.168.230.129/25

Switch A

Vlan 1 no assigned ip

Vlan 2 192.168.230.5/25 ports 2-12

Vlan 3 192.168.230.130/25 ports 13-24

no default gateway

Switch B

Vlan1 192.168.230.131/25

Default Gateway 192.168.230.129

Switch C

Vlan1 192.168.230.132/25

Default Gateway 192.168.230.129

Router 1 is connected to Switch A Vlan2 in port 2 (FE01) and Vlan3 in port 14.

Router 2 is connected to Switch A Vlan3 in port 13

Switch B is connected to Switch A Vlan3 in port 17

Switch C is connected to Switch A Vlan3 in port 22

I can connect to any device on switch A in either Vlan2 or Vlan3. I can not hower telnet into either vlan. I can also not see switch B or C.

should I have configured the port on switch B and C as Vlan3 instead of Vlan1?

should I assign an ip to Vlan1 on switch A (example 192.168.230.4)?

thanks for any assistance.

Yes, switch B & C's ip's need to be configured in a vlan3 interface. As far as your first question goes, where are you sourcing your telnets from?

I was attempting to telnet from Router 1 Fe0 192.168.230.1

Hmmm, very strange. Doublecheck that the devices you're telneting to are in the correct vlan. Also, check to see if you can ping the devices you're telneting to. Last, make sure the devices you're telneting to support telnet. Good luck!
