VPDN (routing dialup)

Hi

We are using VPDN with L2TP tunnels terminated on 7200 routers. Each router has its own address pool. However, some dialup customers ask for static IP addresses. I don't know to which L2TP router they will connect.

I am using ISIS between these routers and the rest of our network.

Since I am excluding the static IPs subnet from the ISIS announcemnet, I had to announce them as "connected" .

This will disturb the routing table with frequent triggered updates b/c of the connection/disconnection of the dialup.

Am I doing the right thing or is there a better solution.
