What is this error telling me? (value of Interface Inbound Errors = 100% 'and so on')

So, I am getting this error on Prime and it says this:
"Interface
'switch name'/GigabitEthernet4/0/3:
value of Interface Inbound Errors = 100%
violated the set threshold: 25%. Additional:
InPktErrors=100%, OutPktErrors=0% -
Automonitoring - Link and Trunk Ports -
Device Name: 'switch name' -
Reporting Address: xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx

For obvious reasons, I've removed the switch name and IP, but I know those details are moot.

Anyway, back to my question: what is this telling me? Is it saying that port g4/0/3 is losing 100% of its traffic? I didn't set any thresholds, so I assume this is an automatic setting Prime comes standard with. What is the difference between "inpkterrors" and "outpkterrors"?

Forgive me, but I'm not the one who setup Prime at our location and I'm just now beginning my networking training (no previous experience) so I'm not entirely sure what to make of this. I know even less about

Thank you for your time and help.

 - I would , for starters, have a look at the interface-counters 'local' on the designated-switch and the particular interface itself, this to analyze the problem further and  or  to exclude buggy-reporting from Prime.
