WS-X4448-GB(SFP) and WS-X4548-GB-RJ45V for cat4500

I need to know if someone has any feedback about mentioned cards in terms of important bugs and/or performance issues. Onthe other hand I would need some description document.

I am thinking in buying these cards but firstly I want to know its behaviour in live networks. Any experience regarding these cards is welcomed.

We have started using these SFPs for our core network and we do not have any real problems. You just need to be careful with the fiber since it's a little more fragile. The only other issue I could see is how much traffic you put on this card since the 4k is a blocking switch. What supervisor are you using?

It is not true to say that 4k is blocking switch as a blanket statement. Some linecards like the the ones discussed here are over-subscribted but 10/100 linecards and 4306 or 4506 or sup uplinks are line-rate. Any IOS supervisor would provide similar rates for the discussed 4448 /4548 modules.

Also the latest WS-C4948 switch is line-rate on all 48 ports ...
