2500 flash memory upgrade

Hi everyone

I have a 2521 router with two simm slots on the motherboard, one containing a 8mb flash module.

I want to add another 8mb to make 16mb available

in a single partition. Currently the second chip

adds another 8mb, but I have 2 partitions. 8mb will

not hold the image I want to put on.

Is this possible?

Hello Jacques,

you have to partition the flash into 1 partition of 16MB, as far as I remember the command is:

Router(config)#partition flash 1 16
