Hi everyone,
I am new to the Cisco Nexus series and I would like to clarify.
I have a Cisco Nexus 2000 and a Cisco 4934. I was wondering if I can connect both of these devices together so that my Cisco 4934 is able to manage Cisco 2000 through telnet/ssh. What if it is a Cisco Nexus 5000 instead of 2000 too? Thank you for your advice!
Regards,
David

Hi David.
You can't connect a Nexus 2000 switch to a 4934. You can only connect the 2000 switch to Cisco Nexus 5000 or 7000 series. The 5000 and 7000 series switches are the parent switches for the 2K series.
Yes, you can connect a 5000 series switch to a 4934 series switch.
