Hi,
I've been experimenting with NBAR to eliminate traffic from Kazaa and Morpheus file sharing programs. I've got a 3640 running the latest IOS IP PLUS Image (c3640-ik9s-mz.122-12.bin). My problem is that when using the latest versions of both Morpheus and Kazaa (both are 2.0), NBAR misses most of the traffic. The result is that the traffic gets through and file sharing is allowed to go on its merry way. I'm reasonably certain that it's not a configuration issue, because I'm able to block other traffic (HTTP, FTP) just fine. Has anyone experimented with these latest versions of peer-to-peer software? Perhaps it works for you?
Thanks in advance for any help you can give me.
John
