Gratuitous ARPs within a IP VLAN

WinNT and 2K workstations do not accept gratuitous arps from Microsoft Clusters when there is a failover. Is there anything that can be configured on a 6513 that can force an arp flush or arp request on a workstation prior to arp cache life expiration? I really do not want to turn down the arp cache life. Nor do I want to use the "dumb hub between the cluster & switch" method which will negate the benefits of directly connecting my servers to the switched network. And to move my clustered resources into their own VLAN will be labor-intensive but may be the best solution

I don't think some command like this is available to force a flush on the workstation.

You can use the clear arp command to delete a specific entry or all entries from the ARP table.
