IP Accounting on 6509

I need to monitor port traffic on a 6509. I have been told that I should set up IP accounting, but have no clue where to begin. Any ideas?

Hopefully you dont have MLS enabled on the 6509 MSFC. IF IP mls is enabled, ip accounting wont reflect accurate values.

You can enable it on each vlan interface of MSFC, and say..

ip accounting - this would enable IP accounting on that interface
