I'm using a Catalyst 3560x to run a Digital Audio network. It looks like every once in a while one/some of the networked devices will send erroneous data (link flap) that leads to the switch shutting the port down:
4-ERR_DISABLE: link-flap error detected on Gi0/18, putting Gi0/18 in err-disable state
I'm working on a fix for the bad data being passed to the switch but in the meantime I'd like to know if there is a way to resume service on the port without power cycling the entire switch. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
