Solved: WS-C3560CG-8PC-S license features

Hi,

I have WS-C3560CG-8PC-S with IPBASE standard license (C3560c405ex-UNIVERSALK9-M).

The current image/license does not support BGP.

Is there any way to upgrade this switch to IP services?

Unfortunately those switches are past end of sales so you would not be able to purchase optional licenses any more.

It wouldn't generally be a good idea to run BGP on that small of a switch in any case. What's your use case and have you considered any alternative approaches?

Thanks for the answer.

It would be just for educational purposes, so it is not all lost if I cannot enable it. The old compact C3560 switches supported almost everything, so it is a pity that this one does not have those features. I guess I will just resort to using GNS3.
