Hi all:
I have 515r v. 5.3(1)
In DMZ is the Exchange server 5.5, if I send one mail the recipient don´n received it, until press F5, the mail stayed in Exchenge server (DMZ) at least one RPC is originated in Inside, (I supposed that)
But If I put exchange server in inside the recipient received the mail inmediatly I press send, for that I supposed Firewall is retain the mails in DMZ.
is there some method for prioritize some ports or something I can do for resolve this issue?.
I really appreciated some help.
Gdl, Jal, Mex.

The Exhange server needs to be located on the inside network for this to work properly.
If you are trying to provide antivirus scanning for email as well as prevent Internet traffic from terminating on the inside network it is recommended that you put an SMTP relay server in the DMZ rather than the corporate Exchange server.

FYI - the reason for this is because Exchange uses a UDP packet on a random high port to send the message notification. Unfortunately, there's no way to modify that.
