In 3640 router with integrated microcom modem I have problem.
for example ;when connection is established in line 1 I have this
in sh int as 1
BW 9kb, I have rhis always
in sh line 1
tx/rx, I have nothing
my question is why the BW is always 9kb.
I want to have it at 115200. is it possible

You have to note the point that the bandwidth of
async interface is only 33.3kb.if u want to get a better BW than what u had now,change the speed to 19200.hope that this will help u.please reply back if it goes on successfilly.

async int will have 33.6, but this can be better if your line can support more.If not it will remain the same. You can employ compression techniques to it also,provided the other end is also configured for it.it can be a problem at the other end to which u are connecting too.
