No special software needed. You should be able to get to the PIX Device Manager (PDM) with your browser, using https://[inside interface I.P.].
Other access types should be available as well, but it will depend on what is enabled and from what interface. Same goes for the PDM. If these fail, then use your console cable to connect and update the config to allow other types of management access.
