Benefit paper

I'm trying to sell the VP's on an intrusion detection system from Cisco of course. I would like to write a paper that would explain the reason why we should have these products. I was just wondering if there are any examples of this kind that I could download and edit to fit my needs.

Products to be use:

Cisco Secure IDS 4210 Sensor

Catalyst 6000 Intrusion Detection Sys Module

Cisco Secure Policy Mgr - R (LITE) v 2.2

We have a wealth of information about the IDS product line posted to Cisco's website at http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/cc/pd/sqsw/sqidsz/prodlit/index.shtml. In addition, there are a number of third party reports that outline the different IDS players, business justification for the technology, etc. You can find on such report from a company called NSS Group at http://www.nss.co.uk/. There is a link for the IDS/VA analysis report.
