bug in software 6.3(1) ????

I hope I'm wrong, but:

1. hardware

cisco pix failove bundle

2. software

6.3(1) - both pixes

3. problem

replication occures only in part of configuration

4. example

wheb I'm changing some parts of configuration on active unit, there is replication only part of this config

i.e.

pix-primary(config)# obj net poland

pix-primary(config-network)# net host 10.10.10.10

pix-priamry(config-network)# quit

pix-primary(config)# sh obj id poland

object-group network poland

network-object host 10.10.10.10.

now I'm logging to secondary and:

pix-secondary# sh obj id poland

object-group network poland

pix-secondary#

primary - is active

secondary - is standby

that's it, I have a couple of other pairs of cisco pix failover (6.2 software) and all works perfectly

the same problem is when I'm changing access-lists, there are no new access lists on standby unit

when I'm writing "write standby" command, then all is replicated

what can be a problem ??

Your assessment sounds likely although I am unaware of any issues related to the symptoms you describe. I would suggest upgrading both units to 6.3(4) and re-testing. There have been *many* bug fixes added to the PIX code since the 6.3(1) release and we may have fixed this issue. Let us know.
