Can I renew my CCNP just by earning CE credits?

I currently hold a CCNP Security and a CCNP Enterprise.  Trying to follow the online documentation for recertification is very confusing.  In some places, it says that passing a recertification exam is required.  In other places, it says that recertification can be done with a recertification exam and 40 CE credits. In other places, it says that only earning 80 CE credits is an option.

I have PLL (which is VERY nice, BTW, although very expensive as well).

If I just go through PLL and complete SCOR (64 credits) and, say, DevNetAssociate Fundamentals (48 credits) I will have earned 112 CE credits.  Is that sufficient to renew both of my CCNPs, or will I still need to take an exam?

Yes, you need 80 CE to renew your CCNP or you can have 40 CE and take a speciality exam. I did that a couple weeks ago. I completed the online training for the ENARSI for 40CE and the passed the test. Please check out https://ce.cisco.com/ this is where you also validate your hours for certification renewal. There some information that. Also this is a great place to start too https://ciscocert-learningatcisco.force.com you can also open a ticket with the support if you have some very specific questions that may not find the answer to on the recertification page.

Sorry not sure what PLL are. At any rate, 80 CE will certify your CCNP Enterprise if you go with the CE only option.
