i'm not able to connect to the ciscoworks webserver.

https://server:1742 The browser displays 'page cannot be displayed". At the same time i can access and download the cisco security agents from the Url

Were u able to access it before or this is the first time ? just check if all the services of ciscoworks are running properly... go to control panel-> admin tools-> services and see if "ciscoworks daemon manager" & all services with regards to ciscoworks have been started....

try http://server:1741 or try with the ip address instead of the hostname.

raj, i was able to access it initially.btw, all the services are running. cannot access with 1741 or ip. should i go in for an uninstallation?
