crypto key generate rsa -> SSH: Generated key <key> is not for SSH

I am trying to generate a key for a SSH connection connection to a uBR7246VXR. IOS is generating the key but generates a log message that the generated key is not for SSH. Why?

I don't think you would need to worry about the log if the key is generated. You could take a look at the following document on configuring ssh.
