Hi,
I am trying to install CSA on hosts. I am able to download and install the kits but it is failing to register.
I have <all> defined in Registration Control.
I have a firewall in between but https is allowed.
I am getting continuously this in the log file:
[2004-12-07 08:41:45.093] [PID=564] [Csamanager]: Registration failed without message Error code=2035
[2004-12-07 08:41:45.093] [PID=564] [Csamanager]: Registering with server VMSManager, Failure (2035)
[2004-12-07 08:41:45.093] [PID=564] [Csamanager]: Will retry to register in 10 sec
And when doing Active Poll:
[2004-12-07 08:41:54.046] [PID=564] [Csamanager]: Performing fast poll...Failure (2035).
[2004-12-07 08:41:54.046] [PID=564] [Csamanager]: conn_check: started
[2004-12-07 08:41:54.093] [PID=564] [Csamanager]: conn_check: ip config: ok
[2004-12-07 08:41:54.093] [PID=564] [Csamanager]: conn_check: dns : resolved mgmtserver name VMSManager
[2004-12-07 08:41:54.093] [PID=564] [Csamanager]: conn_check: https : mgmtserver is reachable via https
[2004-12-07 08:41:54.093] [PID=564] [Csamanager]: conn_check: finished
Any Suggestion?
Thanks and Regards,

Maybe u ran out of licences for you agents?

Viewing your logs, the error message is 2035. 2035 is related to license issue. The 3 licenses which you are talking about is to protect the VMS Server itself.
You can have a evaluation license from this site
https://tools.cisco.com/SWIFT/Licensing/RegistrationServlet?FormId=116
This license expires in 30 days and provides 10 Server and 25 Desktop licenses
Once you fill out the form from the link above, an e-mail with a license will be e-mailed to you. Upload it to the CSA MC and then generate the rules.
Hope the above info sorts out your problem.

I dont think it is an issue of licenses
Under "license Information", I am having 3 permanent licenses for Agents (Server Agent)
And the only host that was registered is on the VMS server itself. (which is not counted, I guess)
Thanks,

Thank You Guys,
It was a licensing Issue.
The 3 licenses that were showing in the license Information were confusing.
The strange thing is that the event log was showing nothing about licensing.
Anyway,
Thanks and Regards.

Just an extra note,
"Server Agent" means license for hosts running "Windows Server" or "Windows Advanced Server".
Even if you have enough "Server Agent" licenses, and you try to download the CSA on Windows 2000 pro, the CSA will not register. In this case, you need desktop licenses.
