CSA force AV update

I am using CSA version 6 and have enabled the signature-based antivirus policy for host desktops. When trying to update the host AV definitions from the host agent, it works great. However, when trying to force the host to update via the MC group or MC host page (Force AV Update) button, it shows quick text that says "Done" with a green checkmark, but no update occurs.

I have looked through Cisco support bug toolkit and have not found anything.

A host is any system that has installed an agent kit from CSA MC and has registered with CSA MC. The host may be a desktop or server and may be of any supported operating system type. Once the host has registered with CSA MC, it can receive policy updates, it can be added to or removed from groups, and its status can be monitored by CSA MC.

Hi Pete, I tried this and though it doesn't update the status immediately, it does update the signature.

When you look at it after it's next poll, it shows as updated.

You can also run an AV update report to see results immediately.
