Different number of Enabled Signatures

Hi,

I've 2 IDS 4250XL. One with 803 enabled signatures and the other with 931.

I've disabled the same signatures in both appliance, why the number of signatures doesn't match?

The only difference between them is that one is monitoring traffic and the other doesn't.

Both devices have the same level of patches and upgrades.

Can anybody help me?

Did you check if they both have the same number of signatures to start with??
