Usually when a Dr. Watson occurs while running cvtnrlog it means the database is corrupted. Probably the best idea at this stage is to export your database to a .cpm file and then use the Troubleshooting Toolkit to fix. The process is as follows:
1. In CSPM, go to File>>Export and save your .cpm file. Make sure it is not saved under the CSPM directory structure.
2. Logout of CSPM
3. Open the Troubleshooting Toolkit: Start>>Programs>>Cisco Systems>>Cisco Secure Policy Manager Troubleshooting Toolkit
4. Click on the Restore Policy Database tab and click on the Restore button. At the bottom of this screen, the four checkboxes will tick themselves off.
5. Once this is done, open CSPM again.
6. Go to File>>Import and import the .cpm file that you previously saved.
This should (hopefully) fix the problem.
