Hi all,

I have two ASA 5540 in failover and I am trying to upgrade from the current  ASA843-k8.bin to ASA846-k8.bin but when I copy the image from a FTP server, from a TFTP server or even the ASDM, I receive some errors and I can't complete the copy

Error message from a FTP:

ASA5540# copy ftp://user:password@x.x.x.x/asa846-k8.bin disk0:
Address or name of remote host [x.x.x.x]?

Source password [password]?
Source filename [asa846-k8.bin]?
Destination filename [asa846-k8.bin]?

Checksum verification on new image failed

Error message from ASDM using the File Management:

The image is attached as error_from_asdm.jpg

It seems like the error were the image but I've verified the MD5 checksum and it is OK and I've also verified downloading and copying again the image into the disk0 but I receive the same errors.  Also if you see the checksum in the text and in the file I attach you'll notice they are differents.

I will really appreciate your help to resolver this issue.  Thanks

are you getting checksum verification failure on both ASA?

Yes,  the same problem from both ASA.
