Hello All,

I am trying to setup an EZVPN network using PPPOE DSL and setup the remote site as a network extension. It looked likes I have a connectivity between my remote and the EZVPN server. I am getting an error...

May 3 16:20:22.323: %CRYPTO-6-IKMP_MODE_FAILURE: Processing of Aggressive mode

failed with peer at 68.127.99.138

*May 3 16:21:22.783: %CRYPTO-6-IKMP_MODE_FAILURE: Processing of Aggressive mode

failed with peer at 68.127.99.138

According to Cisco reading, the particular error message is a wrong hostname. Please help, on what I am missing on my configurations. I am attaching a configurations of my remote router and the VPN server router. This is my very first designing this kind of network and I'm not a Cisco expert either. My network scenario.

This could be an issue with misconfiguration of IKE pre-shared key

I don't see how. I am looking at the configuration in and out and I have the same pre-shared key.

Here's the status of my equipment when I typed the command "show crypto isakmp sa".

Client State:

sh crypto isakmp sa

dst src state conn-id slot

209.78.56.90 68.x.x.183 AG_INIT_EXCH 2 0

209.78.56.90 68.x.x.183 MM_NO_STATE 1 0 (deleted)

Server State:

sh crypto isakmp sa

dst src state conn-id slot

10.1.1.90 68.x.x.183 AG_NO_STATE 2 0

10.1.1.90 68.x.x.183 MM_NO_STATE 1 0 (deleted)

Thanks,
