EZVPN disconnect

I am terminating several vpn's using EZVPN on Cisco 800 series routers running 12.3(2)XA on the client side to a PIX 515 configured as an EZVPN server. I have noticed that sometimes the vpn will go down and not reconnect. I have to get into the client router and manually cause the vpn to reconnect. Any Ideas about why the disconnects are occuring and how to ensure that if a disconnect does occur the vpn automatically reconnects.

Have you enabled DPD's. It looks as if the one end is tearing down the connection while the other is not aware that this is happened. Enabling DPD should solve the problem. I think the command on the PIX is "isakmp keepalive".
