The interfaces are in testing phase.Also not able to ping the outside interface of sec. PIX from inside.

Try "failover reset", and make sure your interfaces are all connected up properly. You won't be able to ping the outside interface of either PIX from a host on the inside, the PIX doesn't allow that (you can't ping a PIX interface from a host on another interface).

Thanks for the reply.I know that we cannot ping the outside interface from either PIX, but can we ping the failover IP address.
