Faiover standby logging

1. In an active standby scenario....what would be the traffic flowing thru standby....?? for it to syslog

2 If its not that is it just that duplicate logs are sent from both active and standby ALTHOUGH it is only the active which processes traffic

Please clarify

may be some management traffic e.g. telnet/ssh/http to the standby unit, can cause a syslog to be generated.

also the failover monitoring traffic itself.

but it isnt the actuall traffic that is flowing through the active unit, that will cause the standby unit to generate a syslog
