Is it possible to restrict access through an 837 router via MAC address? We will need to put some links into shared environments and we want to control access to the router and through the VPN tunnel.
Thanks in advance.

Through which interface you want to restrict access?

The ethernet interface.
This will be connected to a shared area ie shared between other companies. So we want to restrict access through the device at this point.

With 837 you olny restrict access by IP. Then with access-list filter. You can only monitor mac-address traffic configuring ip-accounting under ethernet interface.
