FQDN with DNS configuration

Gents,

I'm trying to configure FQDN on Cisco 4500X and 3650 series switches, but FQDN suffix and the DNS server IP addresses are the only thing provided by the client.

Need your help for the configuration commands.

Are you saying you are trying to assign a FQDN to the switches? That requires creating records on the DNS server(s) - nothing in the switch itself.

Or are you trying to resolve and FQDN from the switches? That requires setting the name server on the switch configuration.
