How to Block Kaaza traffic in firewall.

Hi all,

We have PIX 520 in our organization. We wanted to block Kaaza traffic at firewall. Can someone help me in finding out the ports which I should block.

You can't. kazaa 1.0 uses tcp 1214, but kazaa 2.0 can jump ports. nbar on a mid to higher end cisco router can block it, but a pix cannot.

Do you have the port information for an acl?

Thanks for the information. Then how deal with Kaaza version 2.0? We wanted to block this traffic, before we get into to all the copyright acts etc.

Have you consider url filter, like websense.
