How to check the health of the DataBase on VMS

I recently applied the following two patches:

1. idsmdc1.2.3-win-CSCee609131

2. idsmdc1.2.3-win-CSCsa166823

Since applying these patches the security monitor 1.2.3 “appears” to be take longer to re-arrange the page when dragging and dropping the columns. I have also noticed that sometimes the SecMon will just not recover and appears to have crashed.

Is there anyway to confirm that we do not have database time out issues?

Which log files could be used to troubleshoot this type of behaviour?

I am seeing pretty much the exactly the same thing, since I have applied patch idsmdc1.2.3-win-CSCee609131.

I see two things:

1. Sometimes Secmon will sit and never display records.

2. When I can get SecMon to display events it will only display events that occured after I applied the patch.
