Hi,
When https my sensor, I get following error message:
" IPSEC configuration error: the local IP address could not be determined. Returning to the bootstrap config page".
Then https fails by sending me again a login prompt.
Same behavior for 2 IDS probes.
Thanks for your help.

Please login to your box as root from the console. Then run "sysconfig-sensor" and ensure options 1-6 have been set up for your network environment. If you have set up IPSEC on the box please choose option 9 and see if everything looks correct there as well.

These boxes were in production since 2000. Options 1-6 are correct. Option 9 looks OK as well. IPSEC is disabled on the box.

I would suggest that you open a TAC case to further diagnose your problem.
