Does anyone know (other than changing the IP addr) what is required when moving an IDS from one network to another?

Depends on what you mean, by 'moving to a new network'. If you are just going to move the sniffing interface to a new segment, then no changes need to be made, unless, you have tuned some sigs for traffic on the current segment.
If you are moving the command and control interface to a new segment, then it's just the ip stuff, i.e., ip address, gateway. What I'd suggest, is if you are moving the command and control, is to just run the 'Setup' command from the CLI again.
thanks,
chris

It's the cmnd & cntrl int that is moving. It's up and running. Thx for the advise.
