log file diff ip log file?

Can you tell me how diff log.YYYYMMDDHHMM and iplog.xx.xx.xx.xx.YYYYMM.....

I set the signature action with "IP Log",so it result the iplog.xx.xx.xx.xx......right??

so , If I don't set ALL signature action with IP Log,I will not see any iplog,right?

please told me it's diff that help me more ! thankx~~~

the iplog file is created based on specific signatures being configured with an action of "IP Log". The "log" file is all information captured by the loggerd daemon.
