Monitoring interface utilization through PDM

I'm running the latest PDM and code (6.3(4)) on a pix 525. On the PDM home page the outside interface shows an output of 768 Kbps (.75 Mbs). However, if I go to the Monitoring > Interface Graphs > Outside interface and graph the Byte count, at the present time I'm showing an output of 4194304 B (4096 Kbps, or 32 Mbs). Should I just assume the log on the home page is inaccurate? Either way I can't convert one figure to be anywhere near the other figure.

Also, will the 100 Mb interfaces on a PIX support just that, 100 Mb? Or should I upgrade to a gigabit interface if let's say, I reach 80% utilization?

Thanks in advance,

Eric

Sorry for the dumb post - I just realized that there is a "bit rate" for monitoring interface utilization, and that byte counts is a cumulative counter. Amazing what a few hours of sleep will do for your troubleshooting...
