hi

can we use a wildcard mask of 255.255.2.255 on PIX.that's to allow 253hosts in the third octet.

You can not use 'wildcard mask' on a PIX !! on a IOS router you can.

i meant the use of netmask in access list like

access-list 110 permit tcp any host 125.1.1.1 255.255.255.124 eq 23
