I have , voice vlan 10 and data vlan 5.

And My unauthentciated vlan is 8.

Now

When I am using L3 mode for CAS in OOB  , there is no issue .

When I configure Cas is configured in OOB virtual gateway L2 mode , the machines are not able to get an ip address, as the swicth dirtecly conencted to the machine is going to unauthenticated vlan 8 , but the switch conencted to CAS , it dirtecly going to default vlan 1 instead of unauthenticated vlan .

My scenrios is like this

          vlan 8--------vlan 1

pc-----switch--------switch -----cas--------router--------router-----CAM

Any help is appreciated

HI Raj,

According to the way you have deployed your NAC Appliance,

I can't figure out whether you have VLAN Problem on the Interface Connected to the Other Switch or the Interface Connected to the CAS.

If the Problem is on the Switching side then there is problem in the Trunk between the Switched.

Do not use Access Links in VG mode, Use Trunk And Allow VLANS ok

If the Problem is on the CAS Side, Again Configure Trunks properly and Set Native Vlan As  A Dummy VLAN,SAy 999.
