The problem we are having is when using Mac OS X, Cisco VPN Client 3.73 for Mac OS X, we are able to connect to our 3000 series concentrator without any problems. The problems arise when on the client, Mac Classic is launched and using MS Outlook 2001 for Mac OS 9 to connect to our Exchange servers the Outlook on the client hangs. We were having this problem with the PC's as well until WINS was enable on the PC client. Is there a work around or a fix for the Macintosh side of this? As far as I know there is no way to configure WINS on a Mac, or on the Concentrator. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Bill

It is possibly a MTU problem. If after the VPN client connects, you are able to ping the exchange server, you will need to change the MTU size (ifconfig en0 mtu 1400). HTH.

The MTU is already set for 1500. Do I need to restrict the MTU to 1400 for it to work? Wouldn't the larger MTU of 1500 be better?
Thanks,
Bill
