PDM issues

I'm could not get the GUI PDM on WinXP when I tried to load it using the new downloaded Sun Java.But when I tried on the old Microsoft Java Machine it just work perfect but unfortunately the Microsoft JV is no longer available to download.Problem same goes to PDM 2.1 to 3.0.

I'm having the same problem. I also tried it on my 2003 Server and I get the same thing. Dose anyone have any ideas?

I've had this twice. Once it was because I got a "Permission Denied" error and it asked me to debug. I quickly clicked no and it wouldn't go anywhere.

Second time was because the Certificate Dialogue box got caught behind the browser.

Telnet (or Console) into the PIX and see if your IP (or the range of IP's for your local subnet) is allowed access via HTTP. Also, verify that HTTP Server is enabled.

Here's a list of what needs to be enabled to access the PDM:

http server enabled

http 10.10.10.0 255.0.0.0 inside

pdm location 10.10.10.0 255.0.0.0 inside

Replace the 10.10.10.0 with the IP range that you're using for your internal network.

thks,I don't think it is because of the config issues,3 cmd stated above configured properly inside my PIX.Still it is because of JAVA issues.1 thing for sure Win98 definately it work.

I am currently using Windows xp Pro and java 1.3.1_08 and PDM 3.0 with no problems.

Once you have the 1.3.1 loaded go to java control panel and enable the console. This will help with debug if you still have issues.

So If I am missing the correct pdm location statement will I still be able to access the PDM assuming I have the other 2 commands and am accessing it from the respective inside network:

http server enable

http 10.0.0.0 255.0.0.0 inside

These are the only 2 commands you need to access the pdm from the inside network 10.0.0.0. The statement pdm location is only to tell the pdm where a host/network resides.

I had the same problem and I tried with different java plugin but without any better results. I installed then the old Microsoft Java Virtual Machine and it worked fine. Just search for a file named "msjavx86.exe" on the net.
