Personal Firewall & Cisco Security Agent

Seeking advice re. running a personal firewall on personal desktop in front of PIX and Cable ISP.

What are your experiences with personal firewalls and which do you recommend? Are there any compatible (or planned) with the Cisco Host-Based IDS, i.e. Cisco Secruity Agent?

I am not too sure if that is a good idea. With two firewall in line, a number of complexities such as issues with NAT and IPSec get introduced. However, if your concern is to defend against locally originated attacks too, guess you have no option but to use the personal firewall as well. You will need to do a lot of tweaking.
