PIX-1FE vs. Intel Pro 100 + Managment NIC

Hi All,

Can any one help me clear up some confusion? What is the diffence between a PIX-1FE and an Intel Pro 100 + Management NIC? I plugged these two into a PC running Win2000 and they both came up the same with same IRQ as well. Can I use the Intel Pro 100 + Management NIC with Cisco PIX Firewall 515/525/535? Thank you.

Cisco won’t support the Intel NIC unless you purchase it through them… that’s my understanding. They might have a “signature” on there somewhere.
