Port security with Load balancers and fault tolerant nic configurations

Hi All,

I have a primary and secondary switch set up with multiple vlans on each and trunking between them. I also have a primary local director bridging between two of the vlans on the primary switch with a failover local director doing the same on the secondary switch.

All hosts have two NICs in fail-over mode. The primary NIC is connected to the primary switch and the failover to the secondary switch.

I would like to implement Port Security for the host ports.

Are there any prolems with the Local Director being a bridge or the switching of the IP address from the primary nic to the failover nic when the primary fails which would cause the port to shut down?

Thank you much,

Art

I don't think that the Local Director should be a problem. However, I have not tried configuring port security with LD. For configuration, refer:
