Hi everyone;
I need a recommendation please;
My following connection is a inside router, pix 525, then an external router terminating my serial ISP line. Between my firewall and my outside router, I have a L2 switch.
I need to setup a DHCP service so that visitors can pickup DHCP address. What is available to me is dhcpd on the pix, or open a hole into my inside network so that these visitors can obtain this IP address from my inside DHCP Windows server.
Advice please? Can anyone send me a bogus example of a working config?
Kind Regards
Jeff

Hi,
When you mention visitors, are they at remote sites or are they inside your network?
If they are remote users are you trying to create a remote access VPN?
Thanks

Hi Paddy;
Visitors, meaning onsite. These visitors will plug into a layer 2 switch that I have between my pix and the outside internet router. My goal is to give these users access to the Internet, but I will be responsible for assigning these folks public IP addresses. I don't care what these users do once connected.
Regards
Jeff
