Hi,
I have installed VMS 2.2 (all latest versions running). Now I have some troubles in implementing Secure Agent on the VMS server itself.
As long as I activate the agent, it blocks all request from apache.exe an win32.exe to perl.exe on the VMS Server and some MC websides are not able to be shown.
So I thought to create a new rule for the VMS server that alows that requests. But: To download the new policies the secure agent service has to run. And to download the policie win32.exe needs access to perl.exe. As at this point it is forbidden it fails.
Anyone knows about that problem?
Thanks a lot
Markus

There is also a secure agent available for VMS server. (it is by default there). I have run it and it works fine. You now seemed like in catch 20 situation. need to uninstall the agent probably

There is a group availible called VMS Server.
Check to which group your agent is applied.
If it is not the VMS Server Group, just remove the group and apply the VMS Server group.
So you do not need to uninstall the agent.
You can also temporarily deactivate the agent process (if you did not change the rule)
via
net stop csagent
and restart ist then with
net start csagent

Tobias
