There is no TCP session idle timeout in VPN 3005.
There is idle timeout for remote access VPN users.
"Configuration | User Management | Groups | Modify test"
Choose "Generat" Tab
Default Idle Timeout is "30" minutes, you can change to whatever you like.

Thanks, A little more detail as to my problem. I have two concentrator's and a PIX. The pix is connected to the concentrator with VPN and 1 concentrator to concentrator VPN. They are running telnet session between sites e.g site A (PIX) to site B(concentrator) and site C (concentrator) to site B. The telnet session kept dropping out when left for a long time. I changed the timeout on the PIX and this solved the problem on this link, between the two concentrators i still have the issue.

In the concentrator:
"Administration | Access Rights | Access Settings"
"Session Idle Timeout" default is 600 seconds.
Longest idle timeout is 1800 seconds.
This control all the "telnet, SSH, HTTP, HTTPS" management protocols for the VPN 3000 concentrators.
Best Regards,

Is this the only timeout that can be changed on the concentrator??
Thanks + Regards
