We have recently migrated from OpenVPN running on Linux PCs to Cisco 871 routes connecting to an ASA 5520 using IPSEC. Since the migration users find their telnet sessions time out after varied lengths of inactivity. The ASA is configured to push VPN setting to the routers using EasyVPN. EasyVPN has been configured with vpn-idle-timeout set to 120 minutes and vpn-session-timeout is set to none. The telnet sessions still time out before 120 minutes.
Is there a way to configure the routers so they do not break idle telnet sessions?
If more information is need let me know.
