I am currently testing a vpn solution involving Csico 1710, 1720 and 2611s. I've read several scary conversations about dropped packets and VPN connections due to MTU and fragmentation problems. The solution seems to be to reduce the MTU size. Can anyone advise as on how to set the MTU value or the DF bit to avoid these problems? I'm at a loss in how to approach this issue. I need to ensure that my implementation is robust. any help gladly received.
